Our
Fall Sectional Will Host
Elections
for the Board of Directors.
There
are 8 candidates for 4 open directorships. The
candidacy slate proposed by the Board of Directors
consists of
- Sandy Bigg
(incumbent)
- Bob Janis (incumbent)
- Jeff Kopolow
- Bobby Riggs
Additionally,
petitions for candidacy have been received by the
following members of Unit 143:
- Jackie Baker
- Carol Binkelman
- Lee Hastings
- Jennifer Luner
All
candidates are invited to email information,
including
a photo in JPG format,
to
be published on this website.
Members
of Unit 143 in good standing may vote for four (4)
candidates of the above roster of 8 candidates during
the fall Sectional, October 17-19, 2008. They
may also vote by absentee ballot. Votes will
be counted on Sunday afternoon, October 19th.
If necessary, to break a tie, there will be a special
meeting of the current Board of Directors immediately
following the Swiss team on that Sunday. The
results of the election shall be announced as soon
as practical.

the director's discretion, games with less than 3
Flt C teams may have only 2 flights. |

can qualify to play in the District 8 Finals in November
-- and earn a trip to the Spring Nationals.
Earn
Red points, yes, RED,
in the club games.
50%
red, 50% black at sectionally-rated payout, in the
club NAP qualifying games.
If
you place overall in the District 8 Finals in November
(a strati-flighted 2-day event), awards pay GOLD.
(For example, Strat C pays 25% gold, 75% red.)
